Four members of the girls varsity ice hockey team were selected to play in the Metro Girls Hockey League All-Star Game on Dec. 30 at Allstate Arena. Kate Delia ’25, Adriana Fernandez ’25, Alexandra Fernandez ’25, and Andrea Fernandez ’25 will play for the Navy Team. LFA coach Mandy Montgomery will also serve as a coach for the team.

A total of 42 players were selected for the All-Star Game with the teams split into Navy and White teams. Start time for the game is 2 p.m. at Allstate Arena. Later that evening during the Chicago Wolves game against the Cleveland Monsters, players will be selected from the All-Star Game to compete in a skills competition between periods. 

The Caxys are 2-3-1 in Metro League play and return to the ice on Jan. 16 against Evanston Township at LFA’s MacKenzie ’50 Ice Arena.
