Boys Prep Hockey Takes Title in Opening Weekend
The Caxys opened the season by winning the Tiger Cup Challenge hosted by Ridley College. LFA went 3-1 in pool play with shutout wins against Ridley College (2-0), Hill Academy (3-0), and Academie Ste-Cecile International School (6-0). The lone defeat of the weekend was a 3-2 decision against Upper Canada College. LFA advanced to the championship game where the opponent was Upper Canada again with the Caxys flipping the score and winning, 3-2, in overtime.
