The field hockey team opened the IHSFHA State Series facing Highland Park in a rain-soaked afternoon. The Caxys controlled possession throughout the match and scored the decisive goal in the third quarter. Emma Swanson ’25 tallied the eventual game-winner for LFA as the two sides went back-and-forth for the remainder of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter.
